Fulfilling A Dream.

The community’s dream of a one-stop family resource center was realized with the recent opening of EOTC’s Seventh Avenue Center. Designed as a place where children and adults can learn and grow, the new Center brings multiple human services together under one roof. In addition to headquartering EOTC, the Center houses an Early Head Start program, Dress for Success, Educational Opportunity Centers, and Scranton’s Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program.

A Window into the Center.
The dynamic Center opened in July 2011, and is expected to eventually serve more than 5,000 people annually. EOTC and other nonprofit partners now house their collaborative programs at a single, convenient location in central Scranton. CLICK to view more about programs.

A Sustainable Resource.
Starting with the environmentally responsible decision to renovate a vacant commercial building, EOTC set a green path for rehabilitation of its property. In addition to energy efficient lighting and other sustainable features, the new Seventh Avenue Center includes: counseling and training rooms, computer lab, career resources, parent-child library, play areas, parking, and green space for a community garden.

Building Our Future.
Given the unprecedented needs of vulnerable children and adults, EOTC and its nonprofit partners are counting on community support to help create this new Center for northeastern Pennsylvania families. To view the leadership team for our capital campaign, CLICK here.
